Boaz Brill, PhD
With over 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry Boaz brings extensive leadership experience, motivating multi-disciplinary teams toward achieving challenging goals. In his previous role as VP R&D and CTO of Nova Measuring Instruments (Nasdaq: NVMI) he led the development of Optical CD measurement technology from concept to market, resulting with >$100M in annual sales, 5 generations of products installed in the factories of top semiconductor manufacturers worldwide and over 40 US patents. From the technology aspects, Boaz brings extensive experience in system engineering, optics and algorithms.
Boaz is a graduate of the prestigious Talpiot IDF program; he received his PhD in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and holds an MBA from the University of Bradford (UK).
Uriel Barkai, PhD
With over 30 years in the BioMed industry Uriel has been directly involved with cell-based medical devices in the past 15 years, leading multiple R&D programs in various companies, including Beta-O2 and Carmel Biosensor.
Uriel holds a PhD in Physiology from Tel-Aviv University, and has been a visiting scientist in several leading universities in the US and Europe.
Itamar brings extensive experience in cell-line development and various characterization techniques. In GluSense, Itamar leads implant development and pre-clinical studies.
Itamar holds an MSc in Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Natan Davidovics, PhD
Natan brings extensive experience with medical devices from his previous role in the development of an implantable vestibular prosthesis. In GluSense Natan leads product development of implant electronics and the external wearable device.
Natan holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Zohar Biron-Sorek, PhD
Zohar has extensive experience in protein science, biochemistry and structural biology. Prior to joining GluSense Zohar headed the Protein Production and Molecular Biology division at Proteologics Ltd, and also worked as a Post Doc Leader at Novartis Vaccines, California.
Zohar holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Micha Gladnikoff, PhD
Micha brings extensive experience in chemistry and chemical analytical methods. In GluSense, Micha leads implant development from all material-science aspects, including the development of the immuno-protection system and others.
Micha holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Annie brings extensive experience in cell-line development under GMP conditions.
Annie holds an MSc from the Tel-Aviv University.
